Stan McBroom was raised in Colorado. As a young man he had often worked during summers with a local plumbing company and he loved it.  From that point forward, he knew he wanted to be a plumber!  Shortly after graduating from Wheat Ridge High School he was off to the Army and was sent to Vietnam.   After serving his time in Vietnam, he returned to Colorado and quickly settled down.   He married his high school sweetheart and got a job with a local plumbing company as an apprentice.

After he had received his Journeyman License, he started working towards his Master Plumber License.   Stan received his Master Plumber license when he was just 25 years old...he was one of the youngest plumbers to pass the exam!   He loved plumbing so much that he started teaching classes at night to other apprentices working towards their Journeyman License.

After working for a few companies in the Denver Metro Area, Stan knew he could operate his own company the way he thought a company should be operated.  So with the drive and ambition that he still possesses today, Stan founded Security Plumbing & Heating...it was just him, his van and his eight years of experience.  After a few years working on his own and building his clientele, he needed the help of another plumber.  Today the company has continued to steadily grow.  In 1995 Security Plumbing & Heating was incorporated, becoming Security Plumbing & Heating, Inc. 

With the constant growth of the metro Denver Area, we have grown with the demand!   We now service the needs of both residential and commercial customers.  We have a strong 20-member team with our office staff, apprentices, Journeymen and Master Plumbers.  We only send our Journeyman and Master Plumbers to residential service calls, so you can be sure your getting the most qualified and knowledgeable plumber in your home.  You can also feel secure in knowing our plumbers, or as we like to call them “technicians”, coming to your home will arrive in a company vehicle and be in a uniform with our company name patch and their name.

Meet our Water Warden! He is our mascot and stands as a protector, guardian and steward. All of which we strive to provide to you. Protection against unqualified plumbing technicians, unsafe work ethics and over charges. As well as protection against annoying toilets, leaky faucets, clogged drains and outdated fixtures!
